As expected, Treegger supports secure XMPP protocol and you can use open source library such as Smack or LibPurple in your application.

But we are also supporting WebSocket with protobuf encoded data as lightweight solution. Mobile application or WebSocket enabled browser can connect to Treegger infrastructure with a very little impact on resource usage.
